After nearly two years of Covid and wearing masks in and out of the classroom, Year 7 turned their hand to creating some fantastic Roman theatre masks.

Inspired by the plays of Roman playwright Plautus, the pupils ensured their creations were bold and bright so they could be seen right from the very back of the theatre. They then had a go acting out a few extracts from one of his plays with some memorable performances. Well done, Year 7!

QEH’s annual Lizzies Awards celebrated pupil creativity with an inspiring showcase of short films based on the themes ‘Three Wishes’ and ‘Myths’.

Live theatre is here to stay at QEH, as pupils from Years 3 and 4 put on an incredible production of Jack and the Beanstalk last week in our theatre.

Thank you for making Alec’s first week so enjoyable. He’s loved every day and has come home really happy. In particular, he’s said the other boys have made him feel really included and like he’s always been there.
