Staff were delighted to see that Queen Elizabeth’s Hospital remains at the top of all Bristol day schools, and all schools educating boys in the city, in the 2021 Parent Power Survey. The school is also ranked 6th in the whole of the South West.

Described as the ‘most comprehensive resource covering school performance in the UK’, Parent Power is produced annually by The Times and The Sunday Times using data from examination results. Due to the pandemic, the 2021 survey used the examinations data from 2019 but with examinations results and rankings going back to 2010, this is the most comprehensive resource covering elite school performance in the UK.

“As we saw last year this excellent result is down to the tireless and committed work of all staff in all areas of the school, who support the pupils in achieving what they do,” said Rupert Heathcote, Head at QEH. “Congratulations to everyone at QEH for the part they have all played in this achievement.”

QEH pupils enjoyed an unforgettable cricket tour in Cape Town, competing fiercely, exploring iconic sights, and spotting wildlife at Aquila.

It’s this way!

I believe attending QEH has significantly improved my daughter's life. QEH has helped her grow in confidence and character, as well as academically. Your teachers and support staff have guided my daughter to develop her true potential. She now has brilliant life skills with improved critical thinking, analysis and communication. I am honoured and proud to be allowed to be associated with your school.
