As well as being Head of Religion and Philosophy, Zak leads our digital vision. He was instrumental in developing our excellent online learning offering during lockdown, much to the relief of our parents, and is now leading the roll out of our school device programme.

We will remember them

As well as being Head of Religion and Philosophy, Zak leads our digital vision. He was instrumental in developing our excellent online learning offering during lockdown, much to the relief of our parents, and is now leading the roll out of our school device programme.

Today’s Remembrance Day service was broadcast via YouTube as we are currently unable to gather the whole school community together in one place.

We were welcomed by Mr Heathcote and our new school chaplain, the Revd Pilgrim led the service. There were readings from the school captains, Ashe Raymond-Barker and Ruby Wightman and from the former deputy head, and now school archivist, Mr Ryan. Trumpet teacher, Mr Malcolm performed the Last Post and Reveille.

Pupils watched the service in their form rooms and many Old Elizabethans joined us too, including an OE in Canada who was watching at 5.55am local time.

My boys have loved QEH!  They felt at home so quickly and really enjoyed being able to be themselves with like-minded lads.  The teachers really 'got' them and, although they're very different characters, QEH brought out the best in both of them.
