And we’re back!! Team QEH embarks upon its biennial Movember Challenge.

As in previous challenges. several staff will be ‘growing a mo’ throughout this month and will be hoping to surpass the total achieved two years ago of £3,310. Please take a look at the photo below to view some of truly criminal facial hair that helped Team QEH break through their target last time.
As a secondary school educating over 600 boys, we wholeheartedly support the Movember charity and believe the raising of awareness of men’s health within our community to be of huge importance. We hope to help Movember, the leading charity changing the face of men’s health, raise money to fund groundbreaking projects all over the world.
Assemblies this week will be encouraging our pupils to follow the Smart A.L.E.C. model to support their friends:
A.SK – ask the question – RUOK?
L.ISTEN – listen, without judgement or distractions
E.NCOURAGE – encourage action
C.HECK – check in

Please support TeamQEH and help us reach our target by donating via the link.

QEH’s annual Lizzies Awards celebrated pupil creativity with an inspiring showcase of short films based on the themes ‘Three Wishes’ and ‘Myths’.

Since joining the school, we have been constantly amazed by the support and kindness given by the teachers, staff and other pupils and, above all, by the injection of fun that infiltrates throughout whether they're playing sport, completing a science project and participating in a school play.  No doubt there will be challenges ahead but we're confident the school will provide the support and guidance that has our sons' best interests at heart.
