Anyone feeling hungry?

As well as being Head of Religion and Philosophy, Zak leads our digital vision. He was instrumental in developing our excellent online learning offering during lockdown, much to the relief of our parents, and is now leading the roll out of our school device programme.

There’s a new menu in the Sixth Form cafe and it’s enough to make anyone feel hungry!

While Sixth Form students can head to the nearby Triangle at lunchtime (when we’re not in lockdown), most prefer to stay in the Sixth Form Centre where a delicious and nutritious breakfast or brunch is readily available. Holroyd Howe, our school caterers, have just updated the Sixth Form cafe menu. The regular favourites, like bacon butties and croissants are of course still available, but daily specials have been added too. It’s proved to be popular addition, as these made-to-order meals have tripled demand.

Well balanced brain food featuring protein, carbs and good fats are vital fuel for busy Sixth Formers, working hard on their A-levels and EPQs. Poached egg and avocado on sourdough toast, baked banana porridge and tropical fruit smoothies are just some of the additions which have been eagerly welcomed by our students. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available.

At QEH Junior School, learning goes beyond the classroom with a wide range of clubs in sports, arts, STEM, and more. With expert coaching and sessions throughout the day, every pupil can discover new passions and develop key skills.

Introducing Golf to QEH Junior School

The QEH community gathered at Bristol Cathedral to celebrate Charter Day, honouring the 1590 Royal Charter and the values that continue to shape the school. The service featured historic readings, powerful music, and reflections on inclusion, legacy, and unity across generations.

Live theatre is here to stay at QEH, as pupils from Years 3 and 4 put on an incredible production of Jack and the Beanstalk last week in our theatre.

With our two sons being at this school over the past 13 years, we could not be happier with the amazing teachers, teaching and all the extra activities outside of the curriculum. Both boys have come away with outstanding results and aside from that as perfectly rounded, confident and well-mannered young men. We leave today so thanks to the school for everything, we shall miss these days.
