Thank you Friends of QEH!

Ollie is a QEH ‘lifer’, as he joined QEH Juniors in Year 3, eleven years ago.  It’s been great to watch his development through the years, both on and off the pitch.

Our much anticipated Library sofas arrived over Easter!

Thanks to the donations of the Friends, we have added some additional comfort and space to read for pleasure in the Library.

The Friends of QEH are a very active group of staff and parents who help to build the school community from the Junior School right through to Sixth Form. Every year they organise high-quality, very popular events, such as Fireworks Night, Quiz and Curry Night, and the Shindig/Ceilidh!

Their hard work in fundraising through various avenues, has allowed them to donate numerous items to the school.

Aside from the new sofas, this year alone we have received a brand new AI VEO Camera for the sports department, giant light up QEH letters, and several pieces of strength and conditioning equipment; just to name a few!

We’d like to thank all of those involved in the Friends of QEH, for your continuous support.

The Friends are always on the lookout for new volunteers; so if you’d like to get involved (especially on Sports Day!) please find more information in the link below.

The first day of school is a fairly big deal. Many of us will remember it clearly for years to come, often well into our adulthood, even when memories of other events of a similar time are patchy or missing altogether.

This is a really welcoming school.  All the teachers make me feel good about myself and the older pupils are really nice as well.
