The Year 5 and 6 Drama Club left audiences amazed with an extraordinary performance of Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Their ambitious and creative interpretation brought fresh energy to the timeless tragedy, captivating all who attended. Set against a gritty, ‘Peaky Blinders’-inspired backdrop, the production reimagined the play with remarkable flair and originality, accompanied by the show’s soundtrack Nick Cave’s Red Right Hand, which set an eerie tone befitting the dark themes of the play. Jago, Year 6, delivered a masterful portrayal of Macbeth, capturing the character’s tormented descent into madness with confidence and depth.
